Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Finishing Operator to operate label inspector machines, slit printed material into strips, and ensure quality. The role reports to the Finishing Supervisor on a 2nd shift schedule, Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM–1:00 AM, with occasional overtime.

You’ll read job specs, set up cores, and monitor quality across packaging and shipping. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a manufacturing setting with potential noise and hazards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to read rulers and other measurement devices.
• Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Manufacturing environment with potential noise and hazards.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications and set up cores and rewind method.
• Inspect products for quality and package finished goods for shipment.
• Monitor material flow through machines and detect irregular cutting or winding.
• Maintain housekeeping and organized work areas.
