Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking a on-site Finishing Associate to support stain setup, sealer/top coat preparation, and pump room operations. You will help with waste disposal, hazardous materials handling, and color matching for product finishes. Flexibility for shifts and teamwork are required to meet department goals.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to policies, with regular inventory checks and cross-training within the finishing department.

Qualifications

  • Two to three years of work experience.
  • Math and computer skills.
  • Ability to read/write/communicate in English.

Responsibilities

  • Stain set ups, preparation of sealer and top coat, housekeeping of pump room, and inventory checks.
  • Responsible for solid and liquid waste removal and proper disposal or storage.
  • Upkeep and organization of the Hazardous Materials Storage Shed, reporting for air emissions, weekly waste inventory and daily usage reporting.
  • Must be able to mix finishes to insure proper color and reproduce colors off line on products.
  • Operate the pump room and perform tasks for department success.
