Standard Iron is seeking a dependable Denester/Finisher to join our manufacturing team in Thomson, GA. You will remove parts from nests, perform deburring and grinding, inspect quality, and prepare parts for the next step in production.

Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing or metal fabrication preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and finishing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Remove finished parts from laser-cut nests and separate components.
• Deburr, grind, sand, and finish parts according to quality specifications.
• Inspect parts for defects, dimensions, and overall quality.
• Sort, stack, package, and prepare parts for the next production operation.
• Use hand tools, grinders, and other finishing equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain production records and accurately identify completed work.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe from hazards.
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors and team members.
• Assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.
