Job summary

Standard Iron is seeking a dependable Denester/Finisher to join our manufacturing team. This role removes parts from production nests, deburrs and finishes components, and conducts quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.

The position is on second shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM, with a $3.00/hour differential. Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $28.00 per hour based on experience, with strong safety and teamwork values.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication preferred but not required.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools and finishing equipment.
  • Detail-oriented with commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Able to read and follow production documentation.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Deburr, grind, sand, and finish parts per specs.

  • Maintain production records and identify completed work.
  • Keep work areas clean and safe.
  • Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors and teammates.
  • Assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Denester/Finisher to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for removing parts from production nests, separating and sorting components, performing finishing operations such as deburring and grinding, conducting quality inspections, and preparing parts for the next stage of production. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing quality work, maintains a strong safety focus, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Range: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour (starting wage based on experience)

Second Shift

  • Monday – Thursday
  • 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
  • 4-Day Work Week
  • Additional $3.00/hour shift differential
Key Responsibilities
  • Remove finished parts from laser-cut nests and separate components.
  • Deburr, grind, sand, and finish parts according to quality specifications.
