Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Hart, Michigan is hiring a 2nd Shift Finished Goods Warehouse Forklift Operator. The role requires operating forklifts safely in a fast-paced shipping environment on 2pm-10:30pm shifts, with some Saturdays. Pay is $23.94 per hour and includes a full benefits package.

You will unload/load, inspect, and scan items, maintain FIFO, and ensure proper shipping information while keeping work areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass forklift written and driving tests.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Some mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, transfer, and stack finished goods and supplies to and from trucks.
• Interprets shipping order or receiving report to determine item(s) to be loaded/unloaded.
• Complete pre-load inspection and BOL.
• Maintain FIFO by scanning system.
• Daily forklift inspections and battery maintenance.
