Job summary

Lakes Region Community College seeks a Facilities Services Assistant III for the 2nd shift, 40 hours per week, 2:00-10:30 PM, with a shift differential. The role performs skilled custodial, grounds, and light maintenance tasks under supervision within a college setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of custodial or light maintenance experience, and a valid New Hampshire driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial, grounds-keeping, or light maintenance operations is preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate small projects.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and emergency events.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning and sanitizing of offices, classrooms, labs, hallways, and lavatories.
• Operates floor cleaning machines and maintains floor surfaces.
• Performs general grounds maintenance including snow removal and salting.
• Maintains safe handling of chemicals and proper use near food prep areas.
• Repairs and replaces light bulbs and minor building systems.
• Assists in supervising employees and coordinating work.
• Assists in inventory control of cleaning supplies.
• Assists in ensuring campus buildings are secure after hours.
• Participates in safety and compliance with rules and regulations.
