Job summary

West Marine is seeking a Facilities Associate for 2nd shift at our distribution center in Rock Hill, SC. This on-site role ensures safe and efficient operations of equipment and processes that handle goods, recycling, and waste.

The position requires the ability to operate PITs, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with teams to optimize productivity in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating PITs in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance by following regulations and reporting hazards.
• Operate line support equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks) to move goods.
• Replenish supplies (cartons, labels, packing supplies) within assigned area.
• Inspect incoming supplies for damage and quality; communicate issues for resolution.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and proper waste/disposal processes.
• Communicate with leadership and teams to coordinate workflow and improvements.
