Job summary

West Marine in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a full-time Equipment Operator for 1st shift. You will load/unload trailers, move merchandise with Crown equipment, and ensure safety and productivity in a fast-paced distribution center.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, operation of forklifts, RF scanners, and voice-to-pick systems; flexibility for nights/weekends is expected, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with pallet riders, stock pickers, and forklifts.
• Comfortable with heights and RF scanners.
• Familiar with voice-pick concepts and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Move product, pull orders, and control workflow using moving equipment safely.
• Stock products to correct areas of the facility promptly.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Utilize RF handheld scanner and voice-pick systems.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety standards.
• Be flexible with schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
