Job summary

The Toro Company in Tomah, Wisconsin is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment across its facilities. The role covers interior cleaning, waste management, and supporting plant operations on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:30pm–11:00pm) with overtime as needed.

Starting pay is $23.03 per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years of maintenance experience, and the ability to follow instructions, learn new skills, and operate safety procedures and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of maintenance or related experience is helpful.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Strong interpersonal skills with cross-functional teams.
• Understand safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior of building (office & plant) by sweeping and mopping floors.
• Empty waste containers and separate recyclables for bale or disposal.
• Work with outside vendors for daily material pickup.
• May perform minor painting or material handling tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Operate safety procedures and PPE as required.
