Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday) with starting pay of $35.14 per hour. The role involves supervised work to complete objectives and support validation through engineering tests of irrigation and lighting products.

You will perform preventive maintenance, install or repair wiring, follow schematics and manuals, troubleshoot non-routine issues, and work with Technicians to keep equipment safe, efficient, and productive, while

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; associate degree or certification desirable.
3–5 years of electrical experience with pumps and motor repair/installation.
Ability to read and follow safety procedures and schematics.

Responsibilities

Ensures operation of machinery by performing preventive maintenance on motors and pneumatic tools.
Install or repair wiring; inspect and test malfunctioning equipment.
Follow diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications.
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and non-routine repairs.
Collaborate with Technicians to maintain peak equipment performance for safety and productivity.
Locate problems with measuring tools; remove defective parts; use hoists and power tools.
Anticipate parts and supplies; place and expedite orders.
Document actions and communicate issues; uphold safety policies and procedures.
Operate a scissor lift and forklift; load materials and dispose of debris.
Safeguard company tools and equipment.
