Hanover Iron Works, Inc. is seeking a skilled Shop Foreman for the 2nd shift to direct daily fabrication and production activities. You will lead shop personnel, enforce policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong English proficiency, and the ability to manage schedules, procedures, and vendor relationships. This is a full-time on-site position with possible overtime and Saturday work.

Qualifications

• Managerial or supervisory experience required.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Detailed knowledge of industry.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift schedule as well as overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and guidance for shop employees
• Adhere to and enforce all company policies
• Manage all aspects of the fabrication shop, including personnel, equipment, tools, materials, etc.
• Update and maintain the appropriate items in the production schedule
• Update and maintain the fabrication schedule
• Coordinate and schedule deliveries
• Establish and publish standard fabrication procedures
• Maintain high quality standards and quality control procedures to ensure that the customers get a quality product on time
• Continually evaluate production procedures to increase effectiveness of employees, efficiency of production, and improve quality
• Communicate with other departments to ensure project schedules are met
• Maintain all equipment and buildings as applicable and necessary
• Communicate with other departments and facilities, as necessary, regarding product status, quality, and delivery
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Make decisions that protect the best interests of the company
• Maintain a balanced workload in the shop and provide feedback to the Regional Fabrication Operations Manager as needed
• Maintain inventory levels as needed and discussed with the First Shift Foreman, Regional Fabrication Operations Manager and Purchasing.
• Determine work hours as needed to maintain delivery schedules
