Job summary

Crystal Finishing Systems in Mosinee, WI is seeking a 2nd Shift Fabrication Lead to oversee daily fabrication operations on a Monday–Friday 2pm-10pm schedule. The role focuses on guiding a team in the fabrication department, ensuring first‑piece inspections, machine setup, and adherence to quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of leadership experience, knowledge of fabrication processes, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
• Previous setup and machine operating experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of fabrication processing.
• Experience reading blueprints and parts drawings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate workflow and communicate with Supervisor/Department Manager to address quality concerns.
• Assist employees, escalate complex issues as needed.
• Ensure proper quality checks, documentation, and machine setup are completed accurately.
• Conduct first‑piece inspections and operate machinery when Lead responsibilities are lighter.
• Train new team members and coach current employees to improve skills and performance.
