Job summary

Amcor is seeking a 2nd shift operator to run extrusion blow molding lines and assist in packaging, inspections, and changeovers. You will handle lift-truck tasks, monitor GMP and SQF requirements, and participate in safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes quality control, on-time production, and adherence to food-safety protocols across a fast-paced packaging environment.

Qualifications

• Operates extrusion blow molding (EBM) machines.
• Performs inspections using test equipment and visual checks.
• Safely moves materials with lift trucks.
• Performs scheduled maintenance tasks and lubrications.

Responsibilities

• Start/stop machines to produce quality containers.
• Inspect product, pack and stack cartons to build 4 ft high units.
• Maintain GMP and SQF compliance and Food Safety standards.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain secure facility access.
• Identify and record product/process quality issues and initiate corrective actions.
• Assist in changeovers and monitor for out-of-spec production (held ware).
