Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is hiring a 2nd Shift EVOL Operator for our Corrugated facility in Huntsville, AL. Starting wage at $27.99/hr with a 2nd Shift differential of $1.00/hr; shift runs 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required.

You will perform setup and operation of the EVOL line, read technical docs, and ensure product quality using QMS systems. The role requires hands-on CNC equipment experience, accuracy with measurement tools, and the ability to follow safety

Qualifications

Three years of experience in a manufacturing, military environment or similar.
Two years of hands-on CNC equipment experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
One year hands-on experience with computers, tablets, or smart devices in a manufacturing or similar setting.
One year hands-on experience with measurement equipment including tape measures and micrometers.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Responsibilities

Lockout/Tagout/Try (APM & ZES) procedures performed correctly.
Review and understand Job Hazard Analysis and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Identify emergency stops on the machine and demonstrate its use.
Set up prefeeder, glue system, slotter heads, folding rails, counter ejector.
Operate and set up conveyors and other machine components.
Perform setup and troubleshooting of the Clear Vision system and bottom sheet inserter.
Conduct quality checks and inspections using the QMS system.
Inspect finished units to ensure quality standards are met.
