Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator (Zund Cutter) for our 2nd shift in Las Vegas, NV. You will set up, calibrate, and operate digital cutting systems to meet production specs, ensuring quality and safety.

Responsibilities include loading materials, interpreting job tickets, and collaborating with prepress and production teams to keep jobs on time. Day 1 benefits and a new hire incentive support your start.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• High attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital file formats (PDF, DXF, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and production layouts.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Zünd digital cutting equipment according to job specifications.
• Load and align materials accurately on the cutting bed.
• Interpret job tickets, CAD files, and production layouts to ensure accurate cuts.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment.
• Monitor output for quality and consistency; make adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with prepress and production teams to ensure timely job completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Assist in other production areas as needed.
