Job summary

Onterris, Inc. in Wilmington, NC is seeking an Environmental Analyst I or II for our 2nd shift laboratory. The role trains on 1st shift hours, then moves to 2nd shift. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $27.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. You will support multiple projects with regulatory agencies and clients.

Required BA/BS in Chemistry or Natural Science and 2–4 years of environmental analytical chemistry experience. Proficiency with SOPs and laboratory software is expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemistry or Natural Science (or equivalent training).
• 2-4 years’ experience in environmental analytical chemistry or related laboratory work.
• Experience with instrument software or QC/QA in a lab is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples using LCMS/MS and GCMS.
• Troubleshoot instrument issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Process data per SOPs for client reports.
• Assist with development and optimization of analytical methods.
• Maintain knowledge of instrumentation and adapt to changes.
• Follow QA policies and safety procedures.
