Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking an Engineering Technician for 2nd shift at our Saegertown, PA manufacturing facility. This hands-on role supports engineering with setup, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of mechanical equipment and processes.

Based on the schedule, you will work Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with some weekend hours, on-site. Compensation ranges from $22 to $28 per hour, with occasional overtime.

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, and shop orders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate production machinery to support processes.
• Perform tests, inspections, calibrations, and adjustments for safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering on automation improvements and layouts.
• Assist with equipment modifications using hand and power tools.
• Read blueprints to determine setup and requirements.
• Support prototyping of new or modified components.
• Maintain maintenance and inspection records and safety compliance.
