Job summary

Actalent is seeking a CW Emission Test Support Technician for the 2nd shift in Ann Arbor, MI. The role focuses on chassis dynamometer operations, emissions testing, and particulate filter handling in a controlled environment with strict safety standards.

Responsibilities include setting up test vehicles, operating emission analyzers, and driving prescribed test traces while maintaining test schedules and data quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in chassis dynamometer emissions testing.
• Experience with EPA drive cycles (FTP-75, US06, HFET).
• Hands-on emission analyzer setup and operation.
• Proficient with chassis dynamometers for emissions testing.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to protocols.
• Able to work 2nd shift (3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Set up test vehicles on a chassis dynamometer.
• Operate dynos and emission analyzers per work requests.
• Drive test vehicles following prescribed traces.
• Perform particulate filter measurements in clean environment.
• Assist in daily test scheduling to meet timelines.
• Keep test cell clean and organized.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives.
• Work in cold and hot chambers (-35°C to 50°C).
• Follow safety procedures while operating equipment.
