Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Technician Manufacturing Hipotronics on 2nd shift to fabricate and assemble a wide range of products with high precision. You will read prints, wire harnesses, and sub-assemblies, operate cranes and related equipment, and support continuous improvement in assembly methods.

The role requires 2+ years in electronics and assembly, along with the ability to interpret schematics and engineering drawings to build products.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years electronics experience.
• Two plus years of assembly experience and ability to follow written assembly procedures, assembly drawings, wire lists and wiring diagrams.
• Must be able to proficiently read and use schematic and engineering drawings to build products.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate Hipotronics products with a high level of skill, experience, accuracy and print reading.
• Assemble components to form sub-assemblies and perform wiring.
• Operate crane and oil processing equipment.
• Review and revise engineering documentation for errors or omissions.
• Assist in special projects and provide training to assemblers as needed.
• Recommend methods to improve the assembly and perform other duties as assigned.
• Correct problems arising during fabrication and final testing of equipment.
