Job summary

Siemens SI - North America in Pomona, CA seeks an Industrial Switchgear Assembly Specialist. You will train on first shift for 3 months, then transition to second shift (4:00pm–12:30 Midnight). Start compensation is $19.98 per hour.

You will lay out blueprints, BOMs, and diagrams, assembling switchboards and lighting panels into finished units. Responsibilities include scanning work orders, reading diagrams, and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Able to read blueprints, bills of materials, and one-line diagrams.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to operate mechanical tools and perform measurements.
• Able to stand 10–12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or modify electromechanical equipment (switchboards, lighting panels) using mechanical tools and blueprints.
• Process work orders with computers and scanning devices according to production schedules and priorities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and one-line diagrams.
• Fasten component parts on cubicles or frames, subassemblies, and unit assemblies.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and ensure equipment functions properly.
