Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write basic correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of coworkers, engineers or plant support staff.

Responsibilities

• Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste and hazards.
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, and installs electrical conduit.
• Terminates wire and connects control wiring per manuals or layout drawings.
• Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and panels.
• Tests continuity and safety with testing instruments and per procedures.
