Job summary

Aleron, through Acara Solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Wendell, NC for a temp-to-hire role. You'll assemble and wire distribution equipment, read BOMs and drawings, and use torque wrenches and hand tools to build motor control centers, switchgear, EV chargers, and inverters.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience. The role is 2nd shift, 3:00pm–11:30pm, with a 40-hour week; may involve lifting up to 50 lbs and a background

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
• Forklift driver experience.
• SAP experience.
• Ability to identify mechanical and electrical components.
• Experience with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution equipment.
• Complete mechanical subassembly work with steel components and wiring.
• Read BOMs, drawings, layouts and follow work instructions.
• Use torque wrenches and perform basic wiring tasks.
• Follow manufacturing processes and maintain safety and quality.
