Job summary

Arcosa Inc. is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator for the 2nd shift at their Gadsden, AL manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety programs, auditing plant safety, and providing training. This position requires a BS in Occupational Safety, First Aid/CPR certification, and at least 5 years of experience in an industrial setting. Bi-lingual candidates (English/Spanish) are strongly preferred, with a strong emphasis on regular attendance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
• Predictable, regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Audit plant shop areas and work to correct hazardous situations.
• Prepare records on occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer first aid to employees.
• Monitor environmental conditions and ensure safety compliance.
• Investigate unsafe working conditions and implement measures.
• Conduct training sessions for safety equipment.
