Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in automotive/mechanical systems preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience operating a dynamometer or similar testing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automatic transmissions.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor dynamometer machines to test remanufactured automatic transmissions.
• Interpret test parameters and results to ensure compliance with performance standards.
• Record test data accurately and report any anomalies or failures.
• Perform pre- and post-test inspections of transmissions.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on test equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to address testing issues and improve processes.
• Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
