Job summary

PS Logistics in Anderson, SC seeks a Driver Manager to oversee daily driver activities and ensure safe, on-time delivery. The role involves coordinating with load planners, assigning work via McLeod, and guiding drivers to comply with regulations.

The position is 2nd shift (3pm–Midnight) and full-time, offering health benefits and a driver-first culture within a growing regional fleet.

Qualifications

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field, or 1–3 years of dispatch or fleet management experience.
Proficient experience with truck dispatch software
Microsoft Office knowledge
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be detail oriented and have great interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Communicate ETAs with load planners
Utilize McLeod, which is our operating software, to assign work to drivers across the country
Direct daily activities of drivers to designated territories or dedicated operations per policies
Provide drivers with guidance on complying with local, state and federal statutes regulating trucking
Ensure drivers are safe, productive, and deliver on time to customers
Counsel drivers and assist with over the road issues
Assist drivers with keeping important documents up to date (license renewal, random drug tests, physicals)
Willing to work second shift hours - 3pm to Midnight
