Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a Distribution Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Ontario, CA. This role oversees daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping, with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Candidate should have 5–10 years in logistics, supervisory experience, and an Associate’s Degree in Logistics or related field. Excellent communication and proficiency with ERP/JDE are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in logistics or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in logistics and transportation.
• Supervisory experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily receiving, storing and shipping of finished products.
• Coordinate safety program activities and provide safety training.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through location audits and outbound/inbound audits.
• Hire, train and appraise warehouse staff to ensure high productivity.
• Ensure GMP, FSMA and food-safety compliance in all duties.
