Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Minneapolis, MN is hiring a part-time Dietary/Food Service assistant for the 2nd shift. You will prepare, wash, and store dishes; assist cooks; serve meals; and keep dining areas clean following health and sanitation guidelines.

Strong teamwork and reliable attendance are essential. Experience in foodservice and ability to relate to residents help you thrive in our resident-centered community. This role offers an hourly pay of $19 and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must relate positively to residents and families.
• Must communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, officials, referral sources, and the public.
• Must maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Must meet state health requirements.
• Obtain Food Handlers Permit (as required).
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash and store dishes following facility procedures.
• Set up serving carts for meals and serve residents.
• Bus tables and prepare dishes for washing; clean dining room tables and chairs.
• Sweep and clean the dining area; set tables for next meal.
• Provide good customer service in regard to foodservice; work with Food Services team; follow safety and sanitation practices.
