Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Food Services Assistant to support the Food Services Director in ordering, preparing, delivering, and keeping everything clean and compliant with health regulations to ensure a positive resident experience.

Qualifications

• Culinary arts training or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, officials and the public.
• Regular, reliable attendance and adherence to health requirements.
• Obtain Food Handlers Permit if required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staff with guidance from the Food Services Director and orient new hires.
• Ensure food is prepared nutritionally, appetizingly, and presented well; keep utensils and work areas clean.
• Attend required in-service trainings.
• Ensure compliance with residents’ rights and health regulations.
