A family-owned truck dealership in Davenport is seeking a 2nd shift Heavy Duty Diesel Technician to perform services on heavy duty trucks. Qualifications

• Perform service and repair on heavy duty trucks covering all makes and models.
• Complete engine overhauls and other repairs identified during diagnostics.
• Maintain vehicle records with accurate documentation of service and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to determine unit condition.
• Maintain cost efficiency by using warranty and evaluating service options.
• Apply knowledge and work in accordance with DOT and EPA regulations.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

Certifications from OEMs in the trucking industry
