Tyson Foods in Wilkesboro, NC is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain diesel-powered trucks, trailers and equipment to ensure safe operation.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, document repairs, and adhere to DOT and company safety standards. This role requires ability to work on 2nd shift, stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and comply with policies.

Competenze

• Must have a valid State Driver's License.
• Age 18+, valid license, and no DUI/DWI in last 12 months.
• Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions and communicate effectively.

Mansioni

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, suspensions and related components.
• Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and lubrication.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and testing tools to identify vehicle and equipment issues.
• Inspect trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure compliance with company, DOT, and safety requirements.
• Replace defective parts and components while maintaining quality workmanship.
