J. P. Mascaro & Sons is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift at our Reading, PA location. The role oversees fleet maintenance to ensure DOT compliance and safety, schedules service plans, and directs mechanics, welders, and shop personnel. Occasional on‑road repairs may be required during the 2nd shift.

Essential duties include scheduling repairs, reducing downtime, enforcing safety, and coordinating with OEMs and vendors to keep repair techniques up to date.

Formación

• Technical degree in Diesel Technology required.
• 2-5 years experience managing a diesel maintenance shop or similar.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work on second shift.
• CDL "B" license is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain divisions fleet of trucks and equipment by scheduling repairs, PMs, service schedules, and analyzing repairs.
• Oversee service schedules and prevent downtime by proactive planning.
• Ensure DOT inspection requirements are met and safety procedures followed.
• Supervise mechanics, welders, painters and shop staff; assign tasks and provide training.
• Perform repairs on equipment during 2nd shift as needed.
• Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers and vendors to stay current with repair methods.
