Job summary

RRD in Wisconsin is seeking a 2nd shift Bindery Operator to set up, adjust and run a range of binding machines from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The role offers $20.00 to $26.00 per hour plus a $2 per hour shift differential and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

You will inspect equipment, monitor quality and productivity, direct crew, and ensure safe operation while producing books, catalogs, and other printed materials.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of setup and operation of bindery equipment.
• Ability to adjust for paper weights, sizes and colors.
• Proficient in using hand tools and machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate bindery machines.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues.
• Operate bindery machines to process materials (folders, cutters, collators, stitchers).
• Make adjustments to coordinate multiple workstations on a machine.
• Direct crew and monitor production.
• Monitor quality, output and productivity.
