Job summary

Penske Logistics in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking delivery helpers to assist drivers by unloading pallets and delivering products to customers at multiple stores. Helpers may move up to 300 pounds on a hand truck, break down pallets, and handle cold dairy and ambient products.

The role requires reliability, customer interaction, and safety awareness. Shift starts around 2:30pm and runs until route completion; days are Thu-Sun with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience interacting directly with customers.
• Prior warehouse or dock experience preferred.
• Prior delivery assistance experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist delivery driver with loading and unloading of products up to 50lbs/23kg and frequently lift up to 100lbs/45kg with assistance.
• Interact in a professional and courteous manner with customers.
• Read bills of lading and identify product, collect necessary delivery receipts as necessary.
• May assist in providing navigational assistance to the driver.
