Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is hiring delivery helpers to assist drivers in moving products from the truck to customer locations. The role includes unloading, breaking down pallets, and delivering dairy and ambient goods at various stops, with a typical 2:30pm start and weekend schedule in Lawrenceville, GA.

Safety and reliability are essential, as associates must lift up to 100lbs with help and follow bills of lading while delivering to customers.

Qualifications

Prior customer service experience interacting directly with customers.
Prior warehouse or dock experience preferred.
Prior delivery assistance experience preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments required.
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Willingness to travel as necessary and complete Penske employment steps.

Responsibilities

Assist delivery driver with loading/unloading of products up to 50lbs/23kg and frequently lift up to 100lbs/45kg with assistance.
Interact in a professional and courteous manner with customers.
Read bills of lading and identify product, collect delivery receipts as necessary.
May assist in providing navigational assistance to the driver.
