Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking delivery helpers to assist delivery drivers in moving product from the back of a truck to customers’ locations. You will unload at each stop, often using a hand truck, and may rearrange freight at stops.

Helpers must handle 300–400 pounds on a hand truck and break down pallets for store delivery across multiple stops. This is a second-shift position (12:30pm–5pm) with shifts from 8–16 hours and about 14–16 stops per night.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience, interacting directly with customers is preferred.
• Prior warehouse or dock experience is preferred.
• Prior delivery assistance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist CDL Drivers with store delivery
• Candidates must be able to lift/move up to 300lbs with a Dolly
• Will interact in a professional and courteous manner with customers
• Read bills of lading and identify product, collect necessary delivery receipts as necessary
• May assist in providing navigational assistance to the driver
