Job summary

Dorner Manufacturing, a Columbus McKinnon Organization, seeks a Deburring Technician to ensure burr-free parts meeting quality standards by using hand/air tools and buffers. You will read blueprints, document results, operate equipment safely, and support Lean/CI improvements to reduce waste and elevate quality.

Qualifications

• Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills.
• Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities to reflect changing needs.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to deburr and finish product from start to finish while sitting or standing.
• Read and interpret blueprints to verify configuration.
• Self-inspect all parts for quality and report abnormalities to the Supervisor.
• Enter job details into Epicor.
• Use of small machinery, power tools, hand tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and report safety issues.
• Collaborate with team to develop process improvements reducing waste and risk.
