Job summary

Camrett Logistics in Dublin, VA is seeking a hands-on Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead the warehouse team during our busiest period. You will coach and motivate a team of associates, oversee shipping, receiving, picking, packing and inventory control, and enforce safety and efficiency standards.

The role requires leadership in a warehouse environment, knowledge of safety standards, and forklift certification or willingness to become certified. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Proven supervisory experience in transportation/warehousing.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience with inventory management systems and logistics software.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CLTD).
• Experience in training and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the transportation and warehousing team to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Manage staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to meet operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular inspections and audits.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and resolve any operational issues.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.
