Job summary

Lactalis USA is hiring for a manufacturing maintenance technician on the 2nd shift in Murfreesboro, TN. Starting pay is $31.66 per hour with a $0.50 shift differential and potential to earn up to $37.85 per hour.

Responsibilities include installing, maintaining and repairing packaging and processing equipment, solving mechanical issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Requires at least a high school diploma and 1 year of manufacturing maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• 1 year of manufacturing maintenance experience or technical degree in industrial maintenance/engineering.
• Working knowledge of PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems preferred.
• English communication with coworkers and supervisors required.

Responsibilities

• Support production packaging and processing operations.
• Assist in startup, changeover and shutdown of equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis to improve uptime.
• Support training of new employees.
