Garelick Farms, a Dairy Farmers of America company, seeks a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician for our Massachusetts facility. The role focuses on maintaining production, processing, and packaging equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting new equipment installations.

The position requires reading schematics, using various meters and tools, and strong troubleshooting skills. A 3:00pm–11:30pm rotating schedule applies, with opportunities for professional growth and a $1,500

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade/technical schooling preferred in electrical, PLC/HMI, mechanical, welding, refrigeration, plumbing, etc.
• 2–4 years maintenance, electrical, HVAC, or related experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
• Certifications and/or Licenses may be required during employment.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections for reliability.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and service manuals to perform maintenance.
• Support installation of new equipment.
• Assist operators with training and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Complete work orders promptly with high quality.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and handling equipment safely.
• Document repairs and keep accurate paperwork.
• Stay updated on new products and techniques.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Anticipate parts needs and manage purchasing.
