Job summary

GRBS Inc. is hiring a 2nd shift custodian at Ionia High School to maintain a clean, safe learning environment. The role runs Monday through Friday with one weekend per month, 3pm-11:30pm, totaling 40 hours weekly.

Pay is $16.00 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid holidays after one year, and more. As part of the GRBS team you will perform cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and restroom upkeep, while leading by example and ensuring accountability

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to provide valid ID.
• Positive attitude and customer-focused demeanor preferred.
• Michigan Public School background checks exclude theft, violence or drug-related history.

Responsibilities

• Execute the clean building process.
• Finish the job with GRBS tools.
• Complete 360 communication.
• Lead, manage, serve, and hold team members accountable.
• Lead with integrity and humility.
• Complete Building Walkdowns.
• Nightly perimeter door checks.
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and other cleaning tasks as assigned.
