The DM Burr Group is hiring a Full Time Custodial Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Vestaburg, MI. The role oversees the custodial department, schedules staff, and ensures safe, efficient facility operations with adherence to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of previous management experience; focused on facilities management.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a criminal/drug screening.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, and direct custodial department within assigned facility.
• Research and resolve problems related to facilities operational issues.
• Select and assign staff, ensuring equal opportunity in hiring and promotion.
• Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and techniques.
• Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
• Identify staff development and training needs and ensure training is obtained.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of equipment, tools and supplies.
