Job summary

Aapstaff is seeking a two-person crew to operate and monitor wood-processing equipment on the 2nd shift (2:30pm to 11:00pm). You will load, unload, and inspect wood products for quality and sizing while maintaining strict safety standards and PPE usage.

You will also perform routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and housekeeping around the work area, document production records, and assist with packaging and shipping tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wood-processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, sort, and move wood materials and finished products.
• Inspect wood products for quality, defects, damage, and proper sizing.
• Feed raw wood materials into processing machinery and monitor equipment during operation.
• Perform routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and housekeeping around equipment and work areas.
• Follow company safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and proper PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
• Assist coworkers with production, material handling, packaging, and shipping activities.
• Maintain production records and report equipment problems or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Meet daily production and quality requirements while maintaining a strong focus on workplace safety.
