Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking a production associate in the United States to join our team in Mount Jackson, VA. The role involves chopping and staging parts for assembly, operating the miter door cell equipment, and moving materials with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates will have carpentry experience or similar fast-paced work, the ability to read tape measures, and a good grasp of math and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• One year of production experience or similar in carpentry or fast paced, detail-oriented environment is preferred.
• Work neatly (gluing and stapling doors) and meet quality standards.
• Two to three years of work experience.
• Knowledge of safe work practices.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to distinguish colors and species.
• Ability to read a tape measure and caliper.
• Math and computer skills.
• Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Self-starter who works effectively without close supervision.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

With proper training will be part of a team responsible for any of the following: chopping/staging parts for assembly, operating all equipment in the miter door cell, and moving material. Must be extremely safety conscious and have good housekeeping habits. Must be detail oriented to avoid scrap. Must meet all quality standards and production goals. Must be willing to perform any other tasks required for the success of the department.
