Job summary

Cabinetworks Group in the United States is seeking a production associate to join our finishing room operations. You will learn multiple finishing room jobs, move material, and follow written or spoken instructions to meet quality standards.

This role requires basic reading of a tape measure, teamwork, safety compliance, and the ability to work overtime including weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• One year of production experience or similar in carpentry or fast paced, detail-oriented environment preferred.
• Two to three years of work experience.
• Knowledge of safe work practices.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, climbing stairs, and pulling.
• May be required to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs as well as push/pull carts.
• Hand dexterity and strength.
• Will be exposed to finishing materials, vapors or fumes on a regular basis.
• Overtime is required, including weekends sometimes with little or no advance notice.
• May be required to work a flexible schedule.
• It is an essential function of this position that you report to work on a regular basis.
