Job summary

AKG North America – Mebane, NC is seeking an Assembly Technician for the 2nd shift to assemble large cooling systems per detailed work orders and 3D models. You will move completed units to packaging areas and assist with loading onto trucks for shipment, ensuring timely delivery.

Roles require reading instructions, handling 3D models, inspecting components for quality, and maintaining a safe, productive work area with adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Final assembly experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and 3D models is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand work instructions and blueprints.
• Open and interpret 3D computer models.
• Inspect cooler components and ensure quality.
• Locate and retrieve parts needed for assembly.
• Move cooling packages using motorized cranes and forklifts.
• Assemble parts following blueprints and models.
• Document assembly per AKG and industry standards.
• Meet production quotas set by Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Report issues promptly to supervisors.
