Job summary

Abbott in Columbus, OH seeks a Control Room Operator for 2nd shift to ensure WMS and EMS systems stay operational and inventory accuracy is maintained. The role requires coordinating shipping, validating data, and supporting system troubleshooting.

You will work on the Columbus High Rise Warehouse site with GMP, safety, and quality compliance as top priorities. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, warehousing experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehousing operations experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to lift and maneuver objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct efforts to keep WMS/EMS operational.
• Maintain GMP, safety and quality compliance.
• Coordinate on-time shipping of ~55 truckloads per day.
• Serve as liaison between Division and plant areas for system upkeep.
• Create accurate documentation and data entry; verify inventory at touch points.
• Assist with training and troubleshoot system issues.
