Job summary

PLZ Corp in Riverside, CA is hiring for a Compounder/Preweigher on 2nd shift (1:00pm - 11:30pm, Mon-Thurs). The role involves weighing raw materials, preparing batch paperwork, and ensuring accuracy of batch cards while maintaining a clean, safe production area.

You will verify weight scales, track inventory movements, comply with GMP and safety rules, and perform other duties as assigned. Candidates should have HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years of manufacturing equipment experience; physical

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years' experience working with equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 25 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic weights, measurements and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews batch card, checking raw material status prior to commencing with the preweigh process.
• Prepares all necessary paperwork: in process labels, weight sheets for assigned batch to be weighed.
• Ensures accuracy of weighed raw materials in accordance with batch card requirements.
• Responsible for recording inventory movement locations of raw materials.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing department equipment and components.
• Responsible for housekeeping of production lines and maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
• Verifies the accuracy of weight scales.
• Adheres to established safety rules and GMP requirements.
• Other duties as assigned
