Job summary

Tiara Yachts in Holland, MI is seeking a 2nd Shift Composite Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will work hands-on with fiberglass, resins, and core materials, preparing molds and applying layup or vacuum infusion techniques to build the foundation of our boats. This role offers a 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Must have strong work ethic and willingness to learn composite techniques.
• Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with composites, lamination, or bodywork is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare molds and apply fiberglass and resin using hand layup or vacuum infusion techniques.
• Accurately measure, cut, and place fiberglass cloth and core materials.
• Monitor curing times and perform post-cure trimming or grinding.
• Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate material needs or issues with team or supervisor.
