Job summary

Parker Chomerics is seeking a Coating Operator to perform setup, coating, and inspection in the Coating area on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM). You will support LEAN and High-Performance culture, conduct in-process quality checks, and collaborate with engineering to resolve quality and equipment issues.

The role requires 4+ years of manufacturing experience, U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to perform basic math, reading, writing and computer skills such as basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and use of Microsoft Office.
• Personal/ Soft skills: Must Demonstrate effective organizational and verbal/written English communication skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Setup, coating, and inspection of finished coating materials.
• Support LEAN and High-Performance culture and in-process quality inspections.
• Read and follow written instructions and internal SOPs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to solve quality, materials, and equipment issues.
• Work to a daily schedule and meet output targets according to product flow and handling procedures.
• Perform daily duties with chemicals such as paints, adhesives, and primers.
• Complete departmental documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate across departments to inform leaders and engineers of issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
