Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a 2nd Shift Screw Machine Setup Operator / CNC Mill-Turn Lathe Operator in Portsmouth, NH. You will set up and run CNC screw machines, lathes, and mill-turn centers to produce precision components in accordance with drawings and standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3-5 years CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
2+ years setup experience on CNC screw machines, lathes, or mill-turn equipment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience with precision measurement equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC screw machines, mill-turn centers, and CNC lathes to manufacture precision components.
Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, specifications, and process documentation.
Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, collets, chucks, and machine accessories required for production.
Verify machine setups through first article inspections and production qualification runs.
Perform tool offsets, wear adjustments, and minor program edits as authorized.
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot tooling, dimensional, or process issues.
Document inspection results and production data as required.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production personnel to resolve technical issues.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
